New User Training

Applicants must go through training in order to become qualified users.

Two type of trainings are available through KMF

• Using the cleanroom.
• Using specialized equipment in the facility.

Other type of trainings

• Chemical safety.
  
  Chemical safety training courses are offered by the MSU Office of Radiation, Chemical and Biological Safety, and all KMF users are required to attend. For information, please contact ORCBS at (517)-355-0153.



• Electron Microscopy.
  
  Courses for electron microscopies (SEM, TEM, and EDS) are offered by by the College of Natural Science through the Center for Advanced Microscopy. For information, please contact CAM.
